Thanks to all who came to see some really intense shows in Port Huron, Stevensville and Ann Arbor over the past week or so. I don't think we'll be wearing makeshift 'battle armor' made from soundproofing foam again anytime soon.
The record is FINISHED... Word on when it's coming out, who's putting it out and all that stuff to come in the winter months. There are 16(!) songs of mid-fi home recorded bliss clocking in at 39 minutes waiting to be heard. For now you'll have to hear the songs live.
Nicole's tribute to Canadian indie rock is being manufactured as I type this. It sounds excellent. Expect a release show in Detroit sometime late January/ early February. It is sure to be grand.

'Confuse Yr Idols' is that Sonic Youth tribute record we've been telling you about. It is out TODAY on Narnack Records. John Peel has put our version of 'Eric's Trip' into rotation. There is a feature on NG in the latest issue of Blue Root. The story isn't posted online, but info where to get a paper copy is.

Mothers day news- We've been asked to play D Pollen . We play at the 'Buzz Dome' (outside of the Hastings Street Ballroom) around 9:30 on SUN, MAY 23. It will be our last Detroit show for awhile, as we go into hibernation and finish up our new batch of songs.

Medical update: Shawn is doing well after suffering a broken rib doing a flying somersault (with keytar in hand, nonetheless) into the drums last weekend in Cleveland. I still can't get the image out of my mind. So graceful, yet so horrifying. Shawn rules.
